Pleasant Hill Middle earns Lexington 10 basketball title

Pleasant Hill Middle School’s seventh grade boys basketball team won the 2020–2021 Lexington 10 Basketball Championship on Saturday, January 30. PHMS defeated Gilbert Middle 44 to 28 to earn the district title.

Malakai Spinks and Jake Cantor led the team in scoring, with eight points each in the championship game.

E. Jayden Owens led the team in scoring throughout the season. Spinks had the most assists and steals. Hudson J. Kupchinsky led the team in rebounds. Brodie J. Bowers had the most blocks.

The Cougars finished the season undefeated with a 5 to 0 record.
